Proel's design brief was to come up with a series of three active enclosures which would deliver crisp, punchy sound, offer exceptional reliability and portability yet sell at extremely affordable prices.
To achieve the sound and weight criteria, Proel has developed new custom drivers, a new neodymium tweeter and completely new Class D amplifiers with switch mode power supplies. To ensure reliability, the amplifier sections are sealed in aluminium boxes in the rear of the enclosures, which means they are protected from knocks, receive maximum cooling and are easily field serviceable in the unlikely event of a failure.
Delivering the exceptional sound quality are three new custom designed drivers, fed from sophisticated new active circuitry with dual clip limiters for long term reliability.
The ultra-lightweight moulded boxes are fitted with easy to hold luggage-style carrying handles and all are slanted so that they can also be used a stage monitors, if required.
