The NEOS cabinets feature B&C custom transducers, neodymium magnets, titanium diaphragm HF drivers, and an asymmetrical rotatable 1" horn. The bi-amplified active versions are powered by Class D power amps with switching power supply, and onboard DSP.
The cabinets are built from 15 and 18mm birch plywood, coated with a highly resistant anti-scratch Protector-coat paint finish, have a double angle flange (0° or 7.5°) and integral M10 flying points.
Also from Proel is the new Sound Processor line, the result of a detailed series of developments by the company's Sound Reinforcement R&D department, which have been designed for both in studio and live situations. The range comprises eight models, all finished in a stylish red livery with satin finish control knobs.
The units includes two half-rackspace units, the Exaverb - a stereo digital effects processor with tap delay, and the Raptor - a dual-channel automatic feedback eliminator. The other units are the Zetaverb - a stereo digital effects processor with tap delay; Predator - a dual-channel manual/automatic feedback eliminator; the Digicurve - a dual-channel graphic/parametric EQ; and the Dualcomp - a dual-channel, dual-band compressor/limiter. All include USB-RS232-MIDI remote control software facility in a one unit rack standard frame. Finally, the Ezcurve - a graphic equalizer with HF trim, and the Gator - a gate compressor, are the analogue models in the series, say Proel.
