UK - Hot on the heels of the successful JTS 901 professional UHF wireless microphone system, UK distributor Proel International has announced two mid-market introductions - the JTS 8001 single channel and 8002 twin channel packages. Both come with 16-selectable UHF channels and both offer true diversity operation, ensuring minimum set-up time and clear, interference-free operation. Like all JTS wireless systems, they are fully tested and approved for use in the UK and operators do not need to acquire licenses to use them.

Also distributed by Proel International, Alto has announced a new range of live mixers, the L Series. The entire range features 24-bit onboard DSP effects and advanced EQ facilities. Alto L Series mixers begin with the six-channel L6, followed by the eight-channel L8. Features include: five mic input channels with gold plated XLR and balanced line inputs, two stereo input channels with balanced TRS jacks, three-band fixed EQ on mic/line channels, peak LEDs on each channel, separate gain and switchable low cut filters on each input channel and aux sends. On the master section, the L8 provides 24-bit DSP built-in, two track inputs assignable to main mix, control room and headphone outputs, precision 12-segmented bargraph meters and built-in power supply.

The L Series progresses through 12-, 16- and 20-channel versions, with facilities expanding all the way up the range.
