Miles Marsden joins ProlyteProducts UK
UK - Prolyte Products UK Limited (formerly Litestructures) has announced the appointment of Miles Marsden as head of UK sales. Formerly sales director and shareholder of Bradford based The Music Company, Marsden brings with him a raft of experience in all sectors of the entertainment business allied to an intuitive commercial approach.

One of his first tasks was to integrate a hugely increased product portfolio, and this was coordinated directly with support from the technical team at Prolyte Leek. Also joining at the turn of the year was Debbie Powell as a new and valued addition to the customer services team.

Following the merger of Prolyte Products and Litestructures in September 2010, the newly formed Prolyte UK Limited (based at the former Litestructures HQ in Wakefield) has been a hive of activity. The new company is designed specifically to manage and develop UK sales for the four group brands - Litestructures, Prolyte Structures, StageDex and ProLyft. And the new entity has wasted no time in strengthening both its sales team and dealership support to facilitate new levels of customer service and reactivity.

February marked the development of three key stockholding distributors to service the UK market place; Stage Electrics, Impact Products Europe and AC Entertainment Technologies. These appointments followed a comprehensive analysis of the current market for trussing and staging in the UK, and numerous end-user interviews that showed clearly how Prolyte UK could further improve market support, says the company.

Speaking on the latest developments, Lee Brooks, managing director of Prolyte Products UK, states, "When we brought together the two companies last year I was proud of what we had achieved and confident that this laid the ideal foundations for the future, both in commercial and technical terms. The past six months have been busy and not without challenges, but I feel increasingly confident that we offer an unmatched combination of personnel, product, availability and pricing with which to service the UK trussing and staging market."
