UK - Videowall specialist PSCo has announced the launch of the Infinite Plasma 4250 and 4250R range to its portfolio, with new product developments which positions it as one of the most exciting videowall products currently available in the UK.

According to PSCo, Infinite Plasma is a bezel-less plasma screen which offers the smallest seam gap of any plasma or LCD videowall technology available on the market, at less than 3.5mm in multi-formations. The new OPM-4250 is the fifth generation and boasts improved colour reproduction, increased digital input compatibility and the ability to address a wall of up to 100 screens without external processing.

Technical manager at PSCo, Ed Martin explained: "The OPM-4250 is fractionally slimmer than its predecessors and almost 3kg lighter. Practically every aspect of the Infinite Plasma has undergone some kind of improvement. There are minor tweaks, major enhancements and everything in between. This is without doubt the most significant leap forward in the evolution of Infinite Plasma since the original debuted in 2005."

The OPM-4250 now features two built-in DVI inputs, both with loop through facility. An update to the built-in scaler brings support for 1080p input resolution and HDCP compatibility.

Martin continues: "The new optional DVI Converter supports all of the legacy analogue formats while also providing the much requested HDMI and SDI. The new multi-function controller (MFC) adds Ethernet and USB connectivity together with simple IR remote control and four RS232 signal routing ports each handling up to 25 panels."

The screens also feature BIC (Burn In Compensation) technology, safeguarding the longevity of the panel against the detrimental effects of static and repetitive imagery.

PSCo is the exclusive distributor of the Infinite Plasma in the UK and Ireland and has the new model available for demonstration in its Reading HQ, alongside narrow bezel LCD products from NEC and Samsung, and the leading large flatscreens on the market.
