Puxley comments, "The Midas PRO2C produces excellent audio quality and stability, and the interface is very user friendly. I've had very positive feedback from other engineers, who have shown immediate interest in and acceptance of the console, especially those who are familiar with Midas products or other consoles from the Midas Digital range."
JP Cavaco, sales manager at LMC London comments, "PRO2C represents the perfect choice for Puxley. Chris has a no compromise attitude, and with the PRO2C he doesn't need to; even in it's compact form it delivers MIDAS sound quality with incredible flexibility and features."
Before deciding on PRO2C, Puxley had been waiting a long time to make a commitment to invest in a medium format digital console. Following the launch of both the PRO2 and PRO2C at last year's PLASA Show, he made the decision to invest. "The brand standing, audio quality, and rider acceptance of Midas PRO Series consoles and analogue products, made the PRO2C the right choice. One of my engineers saw the desk at the PLASA show, JP then organised a demo at our Exeter premises the following week, and I placed an order the same day. I finally felt that this was a digital console that satisfied our requirements at a sensible price point."
Rob Hughes, Midas' UK customer support manager adds, "Chris was actually the first person to tour in the UK with a PRO2C, and from the first time I met him it was clear that audio quality was high on his priorities, and a MIDAS console would really fit the bill. Packaged in such a compact way, it is perfect for his needs."
Puxley will be using the desk for FOH and monitor duties at a number of upcoming events and festivals, namely Salisbury International Festival in June (including Suzanne Vega and Roberto Fonsecca concerts), Home Festival at Dartington Hall in Devon, and ongoing Show of Hands tours and performances (including festival appearances where infrastructure allows.) He notes, "The PRO2C is the ideal console for bands trying to downscale from PRO6 for either budget or trucking purposes."
