Sebastian Chong takes new role with QSC
Asia Pacific - QSC has strengthened its presence in the Asia Pacific market, recruiting two experienced audio professionals to help consolidate the company's market profile in the region.

With immediate effect, Sebastian Chong takes on the role of product specialist, Asia Pacific Region, while David Fuller joins the team as sales manager for the territory.

Before joining QSC as a product application specialist, Sebastian Chong worked as a technical sales manager with Architectural Audio in Singapore for six years, a company recognised as a leading distributor of installed DSP products in Asia.

"I have been seeking an opportunity to take my experience in installed audio to a regional scale and the position at QSC is a perfect match," he says. "QSC is recognised worldwide as an industry leader, and I'm ready to achieve strong company growth with its exciting product line, both current and new. Along with the sales and marketing team, I believe we'll do great things together."

New Zealander, David Fuller, is an industry veteran of 23 years. After leaving college in 1987, he initially worked for nine years in a musical instrument retail store, at the same time performing as a professional gigging musician, recording his own album, and setting up his own sound rental company.

In 1996, he joined Jands NZ as national sales manager, with QSC among his brand portfolio. During this period he was also contracted to an Australian Broadcast company as the RF audio engineer.

In 2000, David joined JBL Professional in the role of Market Development Engineer for the Asia, Africa, Middle-East and Latin America territory during which time he became involved in designing and/or commissioning many high-profile sound-system installations. He was also the line array systems engineer for many high-profile live events, ranging from the 2002 China National Day Celebrations in Shanghai to the 2002 FIFA Soccer World Cup Opening Ceremony in Seoul. He Returned to New Zealand in 2006 to establish a southern regional office for Jands.
