USA - As in the past, music fans jammed Chicago's Grant Park for this year's Lollapalooza, drawing sell-out crowds 1-3 August. Seen and heard onstage throughout the event, Shure microphones played a big role at the festival.

Choosing Lollapalooza 2008 to play its first North American gig on the second leg of its summer tour, Radiohead played to a sell-out crowd of 75,000 to close out the first night. Thom Yorke's vocals and guitar helped guide the two-hour set, with the frontman singing into a Beta 87C from Shure.
