This year, Extravaganza was held 27-29 September in the Lanxess Arena, a modern multi-purpose venue site in Cologne, Germany, and was attended by about 50,000 visitors. Madeleine Albright, former U.S. Secretary of State, was the special guest for this edition.
The entertaining aspect of the convention featured a richly decorated stage - on which the Shadow Dancers ensemble performed - and large mirror balls suspended over the audience.
To illuminate this impressive setup, Planet Service - a company specialising in consulting, design, construction and lighting design of major events, as well as technical partner of Herbalife for its international conventions - installed a lighting system consisting of over 180 D.T.S. moving heads, including 24 x Raptor, 40 x Jack, and 70 x NRG 1201.
The Raptorss were included in the scenographic structure of Extravaganza, installed on the large arch erected on the stage, and placed on the floor on either side of it.
Their performance in terms of brightness and colour quality greatly contributed to the success of the event.Des Wash, chairman of Herbalife commented, "As always you did an amazing job."
