RCF's 10" Precision Series sealed basket midrange is optimized to work with the 4PRO-7001 60x40 midrange horn. A massive neodymium magnet and a "Compression Driver level" assembly design has been dedicated to reach low distortion and dynamic properties for this transducer.
The compression driver uses a new 3" titanium dome in front of a low compression, optimized geometry, aluminum phase plug. This innovative design is powered from a high flux neodymium magnet and offers an open and natural sound and extreme precision in high frequency reproduction. The driver is loaded on a 60x40 constant directivity aluminum horn.
4PRO 7001-MHP is the two way mid-high system in a trapezoidal enclosure for easy array applications offering 400W power handling, 139 dB max SPL. Controlled dispersion 60 x 40 low distortion mid high horn. 10"neodymium high efficiency, low distortion, sealed basket, horn loaded midrange 3" voice coil, neodymium, titanium dome, high frequency driver, aluminum horn.
4PRO 7001-BP is the mid-bass section, including 2 x 15", 4" voice coil, high power vented neodymium mid-bass. The two 15" are loaded in pass-band high efficiency configuration. All components are housed in strong Baltic birch plywood enclosures. The woofers and mid-high horns are protected by a full front, strong, powder coated, metal grilles. The cabinets features M10 threaded fly points and 8 each 3-position fly-tracks. Two side handles for easy portability for the 7001-MHP and four side handles for the 7001-BP.RCF's Finnish distributor, Noretron, choose one of the country's major summer festivals to launch the new RCF 4PRO 7001 series.
The 61st Finnish Midsummer Air and Music Festival is held at the Kauhava airbase, Finland in June. Noretron's Timo Kunnas explains: "The midsummer festival attracted 9,300 visitors who represent a complete cross section of people that come too see the air display a listen to some Finland's top acts. This year we had artists like Yölintu, Antti Tuisku and Virve Rosti"On the day local rental company Ralf Enlund looked after the sound, using 12 4PRO 7001, 12 4PRO subs. Timo Kunnas added,"The 4PRO system worked very well on the day, we had some very positive feedback from the visiting sound engineers who were all very pleased with it"
