The password-protected section allows authorized dealers to access detailed order information and to track order status from initial submission to delivery. Critical stages in the order process include confirmation, credit approval, production, ship dates (required, changed and actual) and delivery date. After shipment, the online order tracker provides links to common carriers and shipment tracking numbers. A second password controls online access to financial information such as outstanding invoices, credit limits, sales totals, etc. To maintain confidentiality, the company's web developers have given the dealer complete control of access, with a password that can be changed only by the dealer.
