The CFX121M.
USA - Renkus-Heinz will showcase its CF/CFX Series of high value, high performance loudspeakers at Infocomm with a live demonstration in demo roomW-203A. The self-powered CF Series incorporates the company's new PF-1 Intelligent Digital Amplifier, while the CFX Series is designed for use with external amplifiers.

The CF/CFX Series brings world-renowned Renkus-Heinz innovations, along with the brand's natural, balanced sonic performance, to a lower price point, says the company. Built to the company's stringent quality standards using the finest components and materials, each CF/CFX Series loudspeaker is rigorously inspected before shipping. To achieve cost efficiency, the CF/CFX Series uses simpler cabinet designs and offers fewer options than the product lines that have established Renkus-Heinz as a world leader in loudspeaker technology.

The CF/CFX Series includes six products. There are four 2-way general-purpose trapezoidal full-range cabinets - the CF/CFX61 (2-way with a 6" LF driver, 150 x 60 degree dispersion), CF/CFX81 (2-way with 8", 150 x 60 degree dispersion), CF/CFX121 (2-way with 12", 90 x 60 degree dispersion) and CF/CFX151 (2-way with 15", 90 x 40 degree dispersion). The CF/CFX121M is a 2-way cabinet with a 12" woofer in a classic sloped-front cabinet that is ideal for monitor applications. All five full range systems feature high quality compression drivers mounted on unique rotatable Renkus-Heinz Complex Conic horns. The CF/CFX18S single 18" direct radiating subwoofer completes the lineup, crossing over at 100 Hz and extending sub-bass response down to a hefty 35 Hz.

The CF/CFX Series is designed with multi-purpose hardware that makes it equally suitable for portable PA use or permanent installation. Handles, pole mount socket, six-point Universal Mounting Hardware (UMH), U bracket points are standard (not all of the hardware is included on all cabinets). The CF Series self-powered loudspeakers have looping XLR input/throughputs, while the externally powered CFX Series has looping SpeakOn connectors as well as screw-type barrier strip terminals.

The CF Series brings the convenience and efficiency of fully integrated self-powered systems design to budget-constrained applications with a newly design Intelligent Digital Amplifier, the PF-1. A switching power supply and integrated Speaker Specific Processing capabilities make the PF-1 ideal for use inside a loudspeaker cabinet: it is light in weight and 93% efficient, eliminating the need for a cooling fan.

David Rahn, Renkus-Heinz U.S. national sales manager, says: "Renkus-Heinz loudspeaker systems have always been designed to produce extraordinary sound quality. Like our dealers and consultants, we work with sound for a living, and like them, we enjoy our work a lot more when our tools are fun to listen to. With the CF/CFX Series, we've been able to bring Renkus-Heinz quality and reliability to price points that fit everyday applications."
