SoundMan-Designer Windows software uses any standard ASIO audio interface to provide 16 live inputs, 16 outputs and 16 tracks of playback, exactly as AudioBox users have enjoyed for over a decade.
Included is a wide range of audio and show control capabilities, all in real time. Up to 12 bands of parametric EQ, five seconds of delay, automatic fades, mutes, solos, submastering and volume linking are available in every input and output channel.
A 16 by 16 matrix with dynamic and programmable full crossfade capabilities interfaces inputs to outputs and all audio selections can be played synchronously or asynchronously with random access real time triggering.
External MIDI control of submasters and cue triggering is standard and a powerful multi-cue-list show controller and cue editing functions are included with the ability to store an unlimited number of shows, cues and automated moves. Shows written for the AudioBox can be instantly imported and run by SoundMan-Designer, giving the user a new and cost effective way to produce and update established shows as well as creating new ones, adds the company.
SoundMan-Designer has now been installed at Det Norske Teatret, Oslo, Norway, The Manchester Library Theatre, Manchester, UK, Zanesville Community Theatre, Zanesville, Ohio, and New York City College of Technology, Brooklyn, New York.
