The Dalis 860 is designed to give smooth, powerful coverage
UK - Richard Martin Lighting (RML) has announced the addition of the Robert Juliat Dalis 860 to its hire stock.
A 300w asymmetrical cyclorama, the Dalis 860 is designed to give smooth, powerful coverage. An eight-colour mixing LED System, alongside 16-bit control allows for an almost infinite range of repeatable colour possibilities. Additionally, the unit allows for an impressive range of pastel tones with the de-saturation of colours and the addition of warm white and cool white LEDS.
The unit contains an exclusive patented optical system, made up of 48 micro optical asymmetric reflectors which spreads the light evenly across vertical surfaces. The Dalis 860 lets the user control up to 4 groups within the units creating colour variations with smooth transitions by separating the unit into two or four sections.
At 1m wide, the Dalis 860 is designed to be rigged in a continuous row and up to 12 units can be daisy chained. The units are compatible with DMX, RDM, Art-Net and sACN protocols and can be easily patched using the Dalis app. Vertical mounting is possible, and they can be installed directly onto the floor with a simple retractable foot mechanism to aid floor focusing. With a fanless system, the Dalis 860 offers silent operation which makes it a perfect fit for television, film, theatre and other sound sensitive applications.
