Since joining the firm in 1999, he has worked on more than 75 projects including the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, the Overture Centre for the Arts in Madison, the DeBartolo Centre for the Performing Arts at the University of Notre Dame, the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, and the American Airlines Theatre in New York. He is currently working on the Dallas Centre for the Performing Arts and a new facility for the New World Symphony in Miami Beach.
Young has worked in the theatre and entertainment industries for over 20 years. He is a lighting designer who has designed for a wide variety of productions, including theatre, dance, opera, live music concerts, performance art, and special event design. He holds an MFA in Lighting Design from Brandeis University and a BA in Dramatic Art from the University of California at Davis.
