Held at the College's campus in Sidcup on Saturday 15th March 2014, 12 teams of students from School Sixth forms & Further Education Colleges are invited to light up the grounds and buildings, in a spectacular display of light and colour.
The day begins at 11.00am and finishes at 9.00pm; this year Rose Bruford College aims to attract 12 teams, made up of 5 year 12, 13, or FE students to participate in a full day of activities that lead up to the final competition and prize-giving ceremony.
This is an exciting opportunity for young people interested in science, art, design, technology and technical theatre to compete with each other; they will need a creative eye and to be excellent collaborators to succeed.
Last year's winners, from Barking & Dagenham College said: "We enjoyed it immensely. It gave us the opportunity to use our lighting design skills in an environment outside of the conventional theatre setup. We also had the opportunity to talk to industry professionals and form contacts that will assist us throughout our careers."
