UK - RSP has been contracted by Eagle Vision to record and mix Katherine Jenkins' performance taking place at the O2 on 13 March 2010 for Warner's subsequent DVD release. This will be Toby Alington's second time recording the Welsh Mezzo Soprano singer at the O2: he completed the record and mix of her highly acclaimed cabaret spectacle with ballerina, Darcell Bussell, Viva la Diva, in 2008. Alington digitally recorded on location with final post-production and mastering taking place at RSP studios to produce the 5.1 soundtrack for Warner's DVD release.

Saturday's performance is part of Jenkins' first national arena tour, which has already garnered critical acclaim, with Scotland's Evening Times lauding her innovative stage set: "The fantasy element, everything from Roman gladiatorial fighting to a Venetian masked ball, had all the touches of a camp Kylie concert but with the strong, clear vocals to back it up. Bravo!" Jenkins is a multi-platinum selling artist, six out of seven of her studio albums reached number one in the classical charts between 2004 and 2008. Her albums feature a mix of arias, popular songs, hymns and light classical music.

RSP has contracted Floating Earth to supply their newest mobile recording truck with its SSL200 digital console for this event, a facility which has served them well on internationally broadcast shows such as the annual BRIT Awards and Classical BRIT Awards.
