"were delighted to be approached by The Technical Department (the team behind the power at the Tour De France 2014) to provide power distros to enable their services at this major sporting event to run smoothly - and of course didn't hesitate to help," the company says.
The Technical Department Ltd provided electrical services, crew, generators, cabling and switchgear for various aspects of the Tour De France Yorkshire leg. Video screens were laid out across the region, along with a 20,000 strong fan zone in Harrogate and support for the Marshals.
To help the team at The Technical Department Ltd provide a reliable and robust service, an assortment of Rubber Box products were used.
The company adds: "Our products were used to power the LED screens used in Harrogate, Ripon, Leeds and York, as well as to power the event at the Stray in Harrogate. So if you were able to make the first leg of the event on July 5th, you may well have experienced the power of a Rubber Box distro!"
"As always, it was great to have such as reputable company like The Technical Department Ltd use our products. Their feedback post-event was gratefully received. They described their experience of working with Rubber Box as professional and easy and emphasised how reliable both our products and overall service was. Fantastic news!"
