The Animation Cloth has been supplied to the tour's video contractors XL Video after being specified by their project manager Ed Cooper.
It measures 8m wide by 7m high and was specially manufactured by S+H for the tour with a 130mm grid matrix of pixels as opposed to the standard Animation Cloth where this is random.
The modifications were needed to display the specific Priscilla content being played through it in a certain manner to give it a very 'clean' finish.
The Animation Cloth is flown mid stage and is in for the first 15 minutes of the show, until the famous Priscilla bus is revealed.
It comes back in again at key points during the performance, including for Hot Stuff, then again for the casino scene and finally near the end. It is fed with content stored on a Catalyst media server which is also playing back other video elements.
Cooper comments that "It's been great" working with S+H on this project, and he really appreciates their flexibility to be able to deliver the special version of the product as well as the speed and efficiency of the service.

Animation Cloth has been used on a number of other recent high profile events including the BBC's Children In Need telecast, Love Machine, Wembley VIP Area and after-show parties and numerous corporate awards.
