The 90ft-wide stage set featured three 16'x 9' screens, with video projection mapping in the centre section. This created a versatile branding solution which changed throughout the event. A newly installed production and edit suite at Saville Manchester was used to build the 3D Premier League logo plus event specific branding and Premier League club logos, which were all projected onto the set.
The centre section utilised another of Saville's newest purchases, a Christie Roadster HD18K full HD 18K lumen projector. Audio was via a d&b Q1 Line array used primarily for voice reinforcement. It was also the first outing for Saville's new fleet of Ch38 Sennheiser 2000 Series radio microphones.
The lighting incorporated 30 ChromaQ DB4 LED baton up-lighters and four Robe 575 washes on the set. The range of moving lights included 12 MAC 250 Entours, four MAC300s and four Robe 1200 Colour spots, created a dynamic visual display. The design of the lighting rig made it easy to change mood from the daytime conference sessions for the evening Awards show, hosted by celebrity TV presenter Vernon Kay, assisted by WBA light-welterweight boxing champion, Amir Khan.
The Premier League's Claire Hawkins thanked the Saville crew, saying: "I want to make you aware of the outstanding service received from all of your team. The support received prior, during and after the event was exceptional and a major factor in helping our conference look and feel extremely professional."
