IBM/Jutel have also chosen SBES to show their network solutions. IBM being no stranger to computer networks, their partnership with Jutel of Finland providing the audio expertise has been rewarded by a substantial contract being awarded by the BBC for the English Regions project totalling 26 local radio stations. The Oxford Sound Company is midway through the installation project for these and a resolute Andrew Riley commented: "This is the way that broadcasting can be made to be efficient, reliable and really taking advantage of the changes in technology. Audio networking and its integration with mainstream IT systems gives radio stations tremendous flexibility and an opportunity to expand their operations quickly and simply."
Other exhibitors that are joining the SBES showing network audio products include Logitec, Studer, Sadie and Audix and the SBES seminar sessions will also have a very heavy emphasis on the subject with exhibitors being able to present their products and theories within a conference style facility during the show opening hours.
