Schertler's new sensor for banjo, the D-Dyn-Banjo
Switzerland - Contact microphone manufacturer Schertler has just released its new sensor for banjo, the D-Dyn-Banjo. Using the company's DYN technology, the electro-dynamic transducer has been specially developed to give both a natural and reliable reproduction of the instrument's complex sound characteristics.

Fitted with an XLR connector to ensure professional quality connection in a range of performance situations, the D-Dyn-Banjo is easy to install and unobtrusive when attached to the instrument. The current model is intended for use on banjos with a resonator, however a version for open-backed instruments will be available soon.
