It incorporated 12 boats, creatively lit to ensure they were the star of the stand with a fully integrated AV solution to ensure the lifestyle messages and brand were communicated effectively to the visitors at the exhibition. The central area was dominated by a 'lighthouse', which incorporated four 1x4 portrait Infinite plasma walls sourced from PSCo, to create strips of plasma which displayed footage of the boats in action.
The back wall of the stand featured a 3x3 Infinite plasma wall, which allowed Silver Knight to create a large-scale visual feature to attract people to the stand. Each part of the AV solution faced outwards towards the exhibition floor; this was accompanied by additional screens placed around the stand including on a plinth at the exit to ensure footage could be seen on every area from all angles.
Andy Hickinbotham of Silver Knight was Account Manager for the project, co-ordinating the design, project management and construction of the stand for the second year. He explained:"The stand at this year's show was designed to increase the impact of the visuals accompanying the stand design which remained largely similar to last year. With the focus on clean lines and keeping the stand in line with the corporate colours for the company, we designed minimal but impactful graphic panels for the stand, accompanied by an enhanced AV system, to attract people onto the stand and to add to the quality edge to the project. The AV elements were integral to the success of the stand of the stand, and we relied on the professional support of PSCo to create a high tech, visually stunning solution."
The press launch for the SC38 took place at the show, presented by the celebrity Vicky Butler Henderson with a countdown on the screens and pyrotechnics to accompany the launch. Following the London Boat Show, Silver Knight continue to work with Sealine on their exhibition programme, which will see boats exhibiting throughout the world during 2007.
