Jerry Trojanwill assume the role of chief executive officer
USA - Syncrolite LLC has announced that Jerry Trojan, current executive vice president, will assume the role of chief executive officer and that Steve Washington, current vice president of operations, will assume the role of chief product officer.

Trojan joined Syncrolite full-time in June 2013. Before becoming CFO and EVP Trojan had been part of the Syncrolite team as a valued consultant since 2004.

Prior to joining Syncrolite, Trojan had served as the CFO for several public and private commercial companies outside the entertainment lighting industry and worked at VLPS Lighting Services International Inc. (formerly known as Vari-Lite International Inc. and Showco Inc.), beginning in May 1995, ultimately serving as Vice President of Finance and CFO until the sale of the company to Production Resource Group (PRG) in 2004. He is a Certified Public Accountant and MBA.

Washington had been serving as the VP of operations since joining the management team in February 2013 and was a long-time key player at Production Resource Group (PRG) and Vari-Lite before coming to Syncrolite.

"I would like to congratulate both Jerry and Steve on their well-deserved promotions," said Jonathan Adamson, chairman of Syncrolite. "I am excited about the future prospects for our company under their leadership."

"I want to thank the board for its confidence in promoting me to the CEO role. We have managed through a lot of change at Syncrolite over the past two years, especially with the passing of Jack Calmes, Syncrolite's founder and CEO, but I'm confident that we have the team and ownership commitment to allow Syncrolite to continue to succeed," remarked Trojan when asked to comment about the promotion.
