UK - Sennheiser UK will showing a large selection of products at PLASA Focus. The company's wireless microphone and monitoring products are the industry standard and these are well-represented by a wide range of evolution G3 series and 2000 series transmitters and receivers. Complementing these are the EM 3732-II twin receiver and SK 5212-II bodypack transmitter, which feature switching bandwidths respectively twice and five times as wide as before.Also on show are the EK 2020-D portable tour guide receiver and the DDA Kit, a unique infra-red solution for the hearing impaired which has already met with tremendous success at London's O2 Arena.Alongside Sennheiser's own products will be an array of those that the company distributes in the UK. APart products on show include the new Mask2 loudspeaker, a tiny (94 x 82 x 108mm), aesthetically pleasing full-range loudspeaker that delivers 50W RMS. Its complementary sub-woofer, the dual coil Sublime will be exhibited alongside. Another new product is the PCR1000R media player.Combining a CD player with MP3 playback from CD, SD card or USB memory stick, it features balanced XLR, RCA, coaxial and optical digital audio outputs and includes a remote control unit. The Concept1 and Concept1T amplifiers bridge the gap between consumer hi-fi and pro-audio, while the MA246 multi-source, multi-zone 100V mixing amplifier delivers 240W to up to six zones. The complementary MICPAT-6 desktop paging microphone will also be shown.Products from loudspeaker manufacturer DAS on the Sennheiser stand include the Arco series, which comprises two compact full-range cabinets delivering 50 or 100w RMS in both standard and 100v line versions, plus a 340w sub. The Artec series will also be on display, comprising three full-range models, all also available in 100v line versions, delivering between 150 and 200w RMS.Brand new from K-array is the KZ10 Lizard micro line array. Measuring a miniscule 11c x 2.2 x 1.7 cm, it delivers long-throw, crystal clear audio with an output of 92dB continuous, says the company.Further K-array loudspeakers on show include the company's slimline installation KK50 Kobra and KV50 Viper line array and KKS50 sub-bass elements will be on show, together with the Redline 100 and 200 high performance, ultra-slimline two way systems, which are designed for use in both mobile and installed applications.Finally, the brand new Rane AM1 and AM2 rackmount automated mixers will be exhibited.
