Israel - Showlogix, a developer of show control software for the entertainment market, has announced the release of its newest Logix-4D show and media control software, designed for controlling shows in museums, visitor centres, attractions and trade shows

The new Logix-4D is a significant step up from the previous version, offering greater flexibility, higher reliability and overall better performance, says the company.

As a multi-display control and presentation system, Logix-4D Manager communicates with multiple display computers for control and synchronization. Each of these computers drives one or two screens, creating a network of numerous audio/video channels with frame accurate playback.

For further flexibility, Logix-4D Player enables advanced edge-blending for seamless panorama projections. The geometry correction tool enables image shaping; video output can be manipulated in real-time to fit projection onto any curved or non-planar screen.

"We developed the new Logix-4D to provide our customers with an easy-to-use and convenient all-in-one system" says Nir Goldhagen, Showlogix CTO. "We designed The Logix-4D platform to support ongoing development. We plan to add many new and exciting groundbreaking features in the near future. We believe this will help our customers create awesome experiences."

The new system includes video interactivity and many advanced control functions. Users may connect any Art-Net compatible DMX device onto a network to control lighting channels and other devices. Data can be sent from Logix-4D to other systems or devices via network. Incoming signals can be used as inputs to trigger tasks.

Logix-4D offers additional new features for multi-timeline control. For example, different timelines can run simultaneously allowing separate shows to play at the same time, all controlled and monitored from one point. Timelines may interact with each other, enabling "countless possibilities".

Also new, is the Playlist Editor. When using this component, you can select files for multi-display playback, while also allowing remote content uploading. This turns the entire workflow into an easy and sound process. The Logix-4D is available for download via the Showlogix web site.
