This year's festival featured Level 42, Di-rect, Chef'Special, Joost, Paul Elstak and Brennan Heart

The Netherlands - ParkCity Live 2024 impressed visitors with spectacular stage designs and lighting displays, thanks to the creative efforts of Wesley Houben from None Of The Above and Rob Debets from Prismatic Lighting who carried out this project on behalf of SLF Group Rental & Sales.

Held in Heerlen, this year's festival featured performances from Level 42, Di-rect, Chef'Special, Joost, Paul Elstak, Brennan Heart and many more.

The Mainstage, a highlight of the festival, was brought to life by the design of Wesley Houben. Assisting him was Rob Debets, who played a crucial role as system technician.

Central to the Mainstage design were 66 Showtec Stage Blinder FLEX Blaze fixtures. These powerful LED stage blinders added intense bursts of light with traditional tungsten dimming, creating dramatic visual effects that captivated the audience. Complementing these were 34 Showtec Shark - The Meg - Beam One moving heads, which provided dynamic movement and a unique LED ring effect, adding layers of visual interest and colour.

The 20 Infinity Raccoon S420/4 fixtures played a versatile role, acting as both strobe and wash lights to provide a wide range of lighting options with up to over 72,000 lumens of strobe power. For precise and powerful lighting, 17 Infinity S601 Profile fixtures from the high-end Furion series were used, offering exceptional performance with their advanced features. In addition, 26 Infinity iW-1941 RDM RGBW wash fixtures with electronic zoom created rich, saturated washes of colour to enhance the overall ambience of the stage.

The Dance Area was a collaborative creation between Wesley Houben and students from Vista College. This partnership allowed the students to gain hands-on experience while contributing to a professional production. Their innovative approach used a variety of fixtures to create an amazing visual experience. The setup included 24 Infinity iW-741 RDM RGBW wash fixtures, whose electronic zoom capabilities provided vibrant and adjustable lighting.

The 52 Showtec Phantom 1220 Zoombar fixtures offered extensive beam control and flexibility, while 48 Showtec Stage Blinder FLEX Blaze units matched the Mainstage's powerful bursts of light. The use of 38 Showtec Shark - The Meg - Beam One moving heads kept the lighting quality high and provided dynamic lighting effects throughout the Dance Area.
