For this special occasion, the main floor was furnished with imperial tables for the dinner. The room was lit with a delicate amber palette to show off the authentic Murano chandeliers, the paintings by Tiepolo, and the gilded stuccos. Guests could feel as though they were reliving the glorious past of the Serenissima Golden Age of Venice. The pied-à-terre was firstly lit in orange to welcome the guests. It was later turned into a luxurious dance area with immersive lighting and sound for late night entertainment.
The event was organized by the White Emotion event agency of Milan, while the banquet was prepared by the master chef Alajmo. Tondello Tecnologie was selected to take care of the event's architectural lighting and sound setup.
In order to enhance the venue and create the dreamlike atmosphere desired by the couple for their special day, Alessandro, the company's technical manager, chose to install 200 units of Showtec Event Spot 1900, a wireless battery-powered LED luminaire, ideal for taking light and colours to the most evocative views and corners; often difficult to achieve when using conventional hard-wired projectors. These spotlights also offered further advantages in terms of energy impact - a critical issue in historical locations - and aesthetics, as there was no need for intrusive data or power cables.
