ShowTex will take its full portfolio to Leeds
UK - ShowTex will be exhibiting at PLASA Focus: Leeds 2013 to demonstrate its collection of stage and cinema screens for front, rear, or twin projection as well as the enhanced HiSpeed Roll Up hardware system for fast screen motion. The company also specialises in panoramic glassless mirrors, giant mirrors, and projection foils for glow-in-the-dark fabric effects and glasslike inflatables. ShowTex will also present its improved EasyDrape system in Leeds.

The new EasyDrape now features a versatile coupler and telescopic horizontal drape supports with double Velcro. The flexible couplers make it possible to install the EasyDrape system in several directions at the same time allowing for multiple corners with one coupler. A variety of EasyDrape applications can now be built up by just one person. Expo drape and starcloth curtain heights of 2 to 5 meters can be easily obtained by adjusting the telescopic uprights.

All upgraded accessories are compatible with the original system. The improved coupler now makes creating great looking tunnels and pathways even easier. Additionally, adjustable uprights and sleek drape supports guarantee easy installation of temporary venue decoration. The system now allows users to create free standing double temporary walls with standard drapes thanks to the double Velcro finishing.

Travelling drapes can be achieved by combining with the company's ShowPipe track system. Connect to a curved pipe to create free standing tunnels.

Another focus of the ShowTex display at PLASA Focus: Leeds 2013 are the company's stage screens, custom welded in PVC, so that even the biggest screens appear virtually seamless. An in-house screen welding workshop produces screens measuring upwards of 500sqm with super strong seams that the company says are nearly invisible at less than 1mm. Front projection screens are said to have a remarkably even light distribution over a wide viewing area and are available in XL, mesh, perforated, super matte, and black out finishes.

ShowTex is also presenting a selection of stage curtain tracks, complete track systems and commercial drapery hardware. Curtain tracks can be operated manually, motorised, or controlled by DMX. All track systems can be curved in house to a custom or standard radius, says the company, to accommodate the most challenging designs, whether temporary or fixed installations.
