Founded in 1998, US-based Sound Devices produces a range of specialized audio products for field-production, including portable audio mixers, microphone preamplifiers, computer interfaces and recorders. Designed and assembled in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, Sound Devices audio products are designed specifically for audio applications in documentary film and video production, feature film production, sports broadcasting, news-style video production, sound effects gathering, acoustical test and measurement and live music recording.
The Sound Devices range of audio products joins an impressive array of brands on offer from Shure Distribution UK, which includes Shure, QSC Audio, Phonic, PreSonus and Aviom. All these brands will be represented at the forthcoming PLASA Show on stand F50, where Shure Distribution UK will officially unveil the company's new identity, including new website and product catalogue.
