UK - The Shure Academy European Audio Network has announced another in its on-going series of hands-on wireless microphone technology training days, Wireless Mastered, on Tuesday 22 July - but this one is particularly special, as it is taking place at the home of Arsenal Football Club, Emirates Stadium in North London.

Since the launch of the Shure Academy last Autumn, there have been many training events around the country, including wireless training days in Manchester and Liverpool, and various events at Shure Distribution UK's headquarters in Waltham Abbey, such as an Audio for House of Worship focus day, the Audio Insight 2014 seminars in March and regular QSC Q-Sys audio network training. However, the July event is the first to take place at Emirates.

The event runs from 10.30am to 4pm on 22 July and is aimed at all event production staff, but particularly Front-of-House and monitor engineers. It will cover all aspects of RF technology and wireless microphone use for live events, using Shure wireless technology including PSM900/PSM1000 in-ear monitoring, UHF-R, ULX-D and Axient wireless microphone systems, and Shure's Wireless Workbench 6 software management application as a practical reference.

As well as affording attendees the opportunity to see inside Arsenal's home ground, the event will also showcase two new Shure products for the first time: Shure's new QLX-D digital wireless microphone system, and the new PlusChannels wireless microphone management app for iOS handhelds.

Attendance at this event is free, but places are limited, and will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested parties should therefore register on-line as soon as possible at: http://www.shure-academy.co.uk/dates/wireless-mastered#register
