"We were very impressed by the power capability of the system, especially the fact that distribution is so equal in both the horizontal and vertical planes," he says. "But what's really struck us is the great response to the system from our customer base. Our new L-Acoustics K1/KUDO system will be the backbone of our rental activities throughout 2009, and the system will be on the road all season.
This is Sirius Showequipment's first purchase of L-Acoustics systems after years of positive experiences renting V-DOSC, dV-DOSC and KUDO on a dry hire basis. The system will comprise 48 K1 line source cabinets, 24 K1-SB subs, 24 SB28 subs, 24 KUDO line source cabinets, 12 dV-DOSC compact line source enclosures and 75 LA8 amplified controllers installed in LA-RAKs.
"It's a great thing to be part of the pilot phase of the K1 launch," adds Neumann. "We are all audio fanatics and try to achieve the best sound for our customers. But we also need to look into return on investment and this K1/KUDO package is truly the best available option for us!"
