As the show's media technology partner, CT Germany provided the LED specials, projections and peripheral equipment for the Ball des Sports. On behalf of event producer Kogag, the CT team offered full service including installation, support and dismantling with the technical project management of the CT Düsseldorf sales office.
The highlight of the stage set was CT's new Soft-LED: a dynamic LED curtain, it showed video and graphic content which was created specifically for this show. CT says that the combination of striking LED effects, easy handling and short-term installation made Soft-LED a real eye-catcher on the stage.
The large Soft-LED surface was completed by four Barco MiPIX columns, each consisting of four MiPIX Roadmodules each; these were about 4m high, incorporating more than 1,900 MiPIX blocks. The video and graphic content for these two LED specials was realized with High End Systems' new Catalyst Pro v3.3 Media Server - also new in CT's rental stock.
