The two-day networking event, taking place at the picturesque rural location of Coombe Abbey, a four-star country house hotel outside Coventry, will bring consultants, specifiers and manufacturers together under one roof. Following the AGM during the afternoon of Wednesday, 3 March, a networking dinner, with comedian Lea Roberts, will serve as a curtain-raiser for the following day's exhibition.
Wednesday, 4 March will also feature an active programme of seminars - building on the previous day's RF address by Alan March, in which he will provide updates on the Radio Spectrum.
Topics for Day 2 include: Is the market ready for audio over IP (presented by Kevin Sherwood, sales director, CIE-Group): The technology is willing but the spirit is weak (Paul Scarborough, Principal, AKUSTIKS); and Architectural Defects? A celebration of acoustic aberrations (Trevor Cox, Professor of Acoustic Engineering, University of Salford).
Ros Wigmore, ISCE's Secretariat Manager said, "The increased interest in those companies who wish to exhibit and participate in the networking dinner underlines the serious compliance and standard issues now affecting manufacturers, specifiers, consultants and sound engineers alike.
"This event will appeal to anyone involved in all aspects of public address, voice alarm induction loop system, or any other sector involved in acoustics within the sound and communications industry."
The ISCE is a professional organisation for those working in sound communications, especially public address, voice alarm, sound system, audio frequency induction loop system, audio-video, acoustic, or any other such sector in the sound and communications industry.
