"The decision to add the 45°N-12s to our comprehensive Nexo inventory was made during the first demo we had from Reinhard Steger at a Nexo seminar last year. I think I can say, we were one of the first to make up our mind," says Kalle Hogrefe, director of Sound Linear.
Guido Sehrbrock, another director of Sound Linear and the monitor specialist in the company, agrees. "Having listened to the wedges perform well in many different applications, we have been watching their reputation grow, and were just waiting for the right time to invest."
Reiner Scharfe is the monitor engineer for Ina Müller, the German cabaret and TV star. He first trialled the N-12s in rehearsals, immediately deciding to use them. Asked to describe the characteristics of the N-12, he answered: "They're sexy, work straight out of the box, and we get the best feedback from the musicians without asking for it."
"It was a great pleasure to introduce the N-12 to the German market during the last year," says Reinhard Steger from Nexo's German distributor Audiovation. "To watch, for example, how curiosity about the product has grown into 100% acceptance and how lately, it has become the preferred product for both rental companies and monitor engineers. Less than two years since the product was launched, this is the progress we wanted to see."
