The MH3 replaces a Soundcraft Venue. Having previously worked with TMC to upgrade the theatre's reinforcement system, head of sound, Sean Pritchard, had begun looking around for a suitable upgrade and replacement for the venue when the MH3 was launched onto the market.
"We chose the MH3 on the basis of advice from Nick Bolton at TMC, and several others," explains Pritchard, "It was clearly the best buy for its price, with 40 channels and all the auxs - we are using all 12. The overall spec meant that it was a real bargain."
The MH3 was pressed into immediate service on the Everyman's pantomime over the holiday season. Installed just one week before the run of Rock 'n' Roll Cinderella, a show featuring a full band and seven radio mics, the desk performed faultlessly on every performance through to the end of January. The flexibility of the MH3 critically provides the ability to stage productions of every kind, up to a sound design of this complexity, where the large number of aux busses come is essential.
A long standing Harman Pro dealer, for AKG, BSS, dbx, JBL, and Lexicon, TMC Ltd is a newly appointed Soundcraft dealer. The MH3 sale to the Everyman is its first for the brand. "Soundcraft complements our other high quality brands, and offers excellent value for money for our customers," states sales manager Nick Bolton, "When Sean saw all the features for the price, he was sold. They really know what they are doing over there and they did all their homework about what was available that would fulfill their requirement."
