Southeast Christian Church, founded in 1962, has grown to become one of the largest churches in North America. The current facility opened in 1998 and features a sanctuary that seats 9,600. The most attended day of the year is Easter Sunday, where crowds are commonly in excess of 30,000. This is facilitated through multiple services, all held in the main sanctuary. Adamson's demo stock was left in place as a temporary system for shows before the delivery.
The design as predicted by Adamson Shooter specified four main arrays of 16 Y-10s and two Y-10 Subs each, with Two SpekTrix Waves at the bottom of each array, flown high in a wide horizontal arc in order to cover the width of the auditorium. Four hangs consisting of six SpekTrix and three SpekTrix Waves each, was the solution for under balcony coverage. Four SpekTrix Waves were used as a front-fill and 10 SX18s and two MH121.5 for side-fills. Only two T-21s were needed to provide the necessary bass from under the stage.
The Southeast Christian Church is the first to install Lab.gruppen's brand new C Series of amplifiers specifically made for the permanent installation application. In all, 13 x C68:4s, 13 x C28:4s, 20 x C48:4s and two fP6400s were used to power the entire Adamson Speaker system.
