SP Grid is a no-code or low-code platform, aimed at simplifying the deployment of complex digital environments

Europe - Stage Precision launched its open Beta version of SP Grid, the next evolution of its technology, at ISE 2025. Designed to redefine how professionals create, manage and deploy digital experiences, SP Grid transitions Stage Precision’s core offering from a standalone software product to a comprehensive development, data management, control and integration platform, giving users the power to connect every element, every device, every data point seamlessly and in real time.

SP Grid is a no-code or low-code platform, aimed at simplifying the deployment of complex digital environments, providing a foundation for building, deploying and managing digital experiences of all sizes. The platform empowers system integrators, designers and developers to craft tailored solutions for spaces, studios and events.

“We have already received fantastic feedback from a group of closed Beta testers,” confirms Michael Giegerich, CEO at Stage Precision. “After demonstrating many of the new features at ISE and receiving excellent reactions from the industry, we’re now ready to open the Beta version to a wider audience and discover how users who are both familiar with SP V1 and those who are completely new to SP will respond.”

SP Grid is a platform that simplifies project creation and deployment with an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. It enables users to visualise system interconnections, automate workflows and design custom user interfaces. Offering 3D data visualisation and real-time handling, it provides responsive management for real-world environments. With an open API, Python scripting, and custom plugin support, SP Grid ensures seamless integration with existing systems and provides a complete toolkit for building bespoke AV solutions.

Those who have already gained access to the Beta have remarked on their experience of SP’s new platform. “Grid is redefining the industry with an innovative business model paired with a state-of-the-art product,” says Arnaud Grosjean at Moment Factory, the global multidisciplinary entertainment studio.

On the addition of Python scripting, Nate Wilkins, who works within the Immersive and Reactive Lab and XR Stage at Miami University remarks: "Stage Precision has levelled up with SP Grid and the addition of Python. Now, you are able to use all the flexibility and adaptability of a modern programming language with the power of SP’s built-in processes.”

On the upcoming launch of SP Grid, Sarah Cox, CCO at Stage Precision remarks: “For years, the industries powering the experience economy have been forced to work with fragmented systems. This is about to change. SP Grid isn’t just about launching a new product. It’s about unlocking possibilities and giving creators the tools they need to build the future.”
