In November 2009, the Italian manufacturer -together with some Senior Chinese stage-lighting designers such as Professor Liang Hongzhou - staged two seminars on Lighting Design and Lighting Technology organised by Shanghai LasLead Technology.
Located on the riverside of the Pearl River, the Guangzhou Opera House will resonate the high notes of Chinese Opera as a lasting monument to the New Millennium. Designed for the 2010 Asia Games, this big cultural project on the South of China covers an area of 46,000sq.m with 1,800 seats and a multifunctional digital hall with an area of 2,500sq.m. The Spotlight fixtures provided to light this Opera House number more than 350, with Floodlights, high power PCs and Fresnels providing optimal lighting performance and practical to use, combining a long life and an easy maintenance.
Located in Southwest China, the Chongqing Grand Theatre is home to a 1850-capacity (Grand) and a 930-capacity (Medium) theatre in an area of about 80.000sq.m. Here, over 450 Italian manufactured fixtures have been provided. PC and Fresnel spotlights, plus Domino and Ribaltina floodlights have been chosen.
The aesthetic design, more and more important in architectural applications, and the customization of optical and finishing are among the reasons why 100 Spotlight fixtures have been chosen for the Shenzhen Concert Hall.
This multifunctional cultural centre of 25.000sq.m consists of an auditorium hall with 1800 seats mainly hosting symphonic music concerts, a small theatre and other facilities such as a digital recording studio, four VIP Lounges, 18 piano rooms and 20 five-star standard design artist apartments.
