Green-i director Ian Woodall (Woody) will initially work alongside SSE London's operations director Emma Barwell, to ensure that existing contracts and relationships are supported and fully maintained.
Woodall commented: "I'm delighted with this deal because it means our existing clients will benefit greatly from the strength of SSE Audio Group and the wide range of audio services they offer. It also means in future I can take a less hands-on role, in the knowledge that all our clients are being looked after and the relationships we have built up over many years can be properly maintained."
SSE's Emma Barwell added: "I am looking forward to working with Woody and getting to know his clients as this business is all about relationships. Green-i's portfolio will really complement our existing client base."
Green-i was formerly associated with Canegreen - the audio rental company that joined SSE last year and which has just moved into new premises in Hayes alongside SSE London.
SSE Audio group managing director John Penn says: "Last month we agreed to purchase Green-i's complete hire stock, enabling us to secure our position in the London events marketplace, with Andrew Frengley able to provide us with his extensive experience. Now we are delighted to purchase the complementary elements of Green-i as they fit perfectly with SSE London's existing operations.
"We already have a team of audio installation and service engineers operating out of Hayes, so we will work closely with Woody to make sure there is a seamless transition for Green-I's clients."
