UK Stage One recently headed to ExCeL in London's Docklands for the 2008 British International Motor Show. Brought in by client, International Motor Industry Events (IMIE), Stage One was asked to realise the designs of Hstudio for the special exhibition area entitled, The Ultimate Collection.

Stage One helped to transform the Platinum Suite into an exclusive invitation-only exhibition area, displaying 19 models including Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bugatti. Stage One's main involvement was blacking out the room, using steel and gauze panels and constructing plinths on which each car was positioned.

The oval plinths were high spec with a seamless black gloss mirrored laminate finish. Attached to each plinth was a totem containing a lightbox graphic that displayed information about the car. Digitally printed double-sided corporate identity banners then topped each totem.

The Company also constructed four partner booths, which were occupied by high end, relevant exhibitors; each with a laminated, painted finish. A selection of digital prints and panels was also provided along with a gloss black laminate bar backing, with mirrored trim and graphic detail and similar high spec backings for reception and cloakroom areas.

Simon Wood, sales director, Stage One, said: "As a car enthusiast this was a dream job, and we believe we were the right people to undertake it as the standard of finish had to be top notch as befitting the prestigious cars on display, and at Stage One we are renowned forpaying close attention to detail."
