Dr. Gabriele Högg, Dr. Christian Göke, Brigitte Zypries, and Lena Knecht, at Stage|Set|Scenery 2015
Germany - Stage|Set|Scenery made a big impression with its successful launch in 2015 in Berlin. Now, the international trade fair and conference for event technology is due to go into its second round. From 20 to 22 June 2017 Stage|Set|Scenery will once again be gathering everyone who is important for a successful production. They represent planning, architecture, film, event services, stage, lighting, sound, video and media technology, make-up, costume and stage-set design, acoustics, studio, exhibition and museum technology.

Already, the first changes affecting the next event have been decided upon. The show will be moving to Halls 19 to 23 and the Palais am Funkturm on the northern section of the exhibition grounds (ExpoCenter City), thus providing trade visitors with a better overview and ensuring they need only travel short distances. The choice of new venue makes it possible to integrate the International Stage Technology Conference and programme of supporting events into the show.

Following the successful introduction this year of the SoundLab where trade visitors were able to experience the sound created by state-of-the-art audio technology, in 2017 there will also be a corresponding LightLab. The LightLab is where lighting manufacturers, lighting designers and lighting technicians will be gathered in order to exhibit products and solutions and to demonstrate practical scenarios which they can test and discuss.

In order to satisfy the demands of the many international trade visitors at the event (in 2015 over a third came from abroad) simultaneous interpreting will be available not only at the International Stage Technology Conference but also at the SoundLab, LightLab and on the Safety in Action stage.

Exhibitors who book their trade fair stand no later than 15 December 2015 will be able to take advantage of our Early Bird discount. Already, 1,800 square metres of floor space have been taken.
