Recognised for providing advanced solutions for live events, theatre applications and corporate presentations, SSS's Trantec fleet has augmented its potential to supply reliable and flexible systems designs, no matter how challenging the application.
The Trantec ranges fit perfectly into Stage Sound Services' portfolio, which comprises industry standard brands including, d&b audiotechnik, Digico, Soundcraft and Allen& Heath.
Stage Sound Services managing Director, Phil Hurley, commented: "I have been using Trantec systems for over eight years. Whilst considering Trantec synonymous with quality and innovation, I also rate their customer support and service back up as second to none. We first deployed the S6000 rack system for the Welsh International Eisteddfod in Swansea last year where we integrated a 16-channel system for the main Pavilion and into the theatre area. It worked superbly."
Another 16-channel S6000 system was supplied by SSS and specified by sound designer, Andy Collins for Radio 2 and West End International's co-production of Rogers and Hammerstein's renowned romantic musical - South Pacific.
Staged at The Birmingham Symphony Hall with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra for the Concert's European premiere, the show was recorded live and broadcast on Radio 2 on Christmas day.
Andy Collins says: "The S6000 scored highly across all levels of the production for its reliability and its sonic clarity. Plus its miniature transmitter proved popular with cast from a comfort and aesthetic point of view. The quality and exceptional fullness of sound that was delivered was perfect for both of the applications required, a Live Concert and for Broadcast. Plus I enjoyed the flexibility of its wide frequency range and the ease of pre-programming via its advanced remote software."
Stage Sound Service's are supplying a 14 - channel S6002 system on the up-coming Welsh musical theatre tour of Princess and the Hunter. Featuring as part of the system designed by Mike Beer, it has been specified for its compact 1 U rack mountable size, its impressive tuning range plus its signatory sonic clarity.
