Features include 'Stage Choosing Wizard' which allows the visitor to quickly and simply determine which stage will suit a particular event by choosing options from the drop down menus. The Stage Comparator compares all the main technical specifications and other useful information of any, or all, of Star Events Group's range of stages, while the Gallery shows what can be achieved with each staging line.
Users with Login codes can get access to all the documents pertaining to a particular event. Star Events Group can host this service on request and the service will soon extend to venues that it operates in on a contract basis.
There is also a Useful Links section that includes a free event Weather Forecasting service that is available to anyone, be they client or competitor, a handy Conversions chart and a Glossary of common, and not so common, terms.
The weather forecasting service uses instant data from weather stations at 200 UK locations and the World's biggest weather forecasting super-computer. Forecasts focus on mean and gust wind speeds, rainfall and general outlook, so events can be planned with a clear idea of what conditions should be accounted for.
"We've designed our new website to provide as much information as possible, in a very easy to navigate and use format," says Star Events Group's group sales director, Jane Russen. "Our aim is to make the initial decision making process very simple, but of course we're also still only a phone call away."
