Live acts on the main stage included dance legends Faithless and Underworld, joined by newcomers including Kosheen and Dirty Vegas. Meanwhile the marquees boasted performances from Eric Morillo, X Press 2, Judge Jules and Sasha in the line up of over 150 DJs. Star Hire built customized scaffold stages in nine of the marquee tent arenas, each with the branding of a club night, or dance label including Subliminal, Global Underground and Bugged Out. The team made various additions including a specialist access ramp for the Marlboro area for the MICE group.
The Star Hire VT 20-15F main stage gave excellent sight lines of the live acts to the crowds, and featured Star Hire’s new floor and fall arrest safety net, standard to all their Vertech stages. The stage was served by their new Clearspan front of house, housing PA and lighting equipment and engineers.
Pete Holdich, site manager for Star Hire said: "This stage works really well for dance acts as it is versatile enough to offer large scale production while still being suitable for acts which only feature the DJ and his decks. The stage had a very positive impact on the site, giving the live acts the festival feel they cannot get in marquees."
