UK - Sennheiser endorsees, Super Furry Animals, continue to tour with the company's evolution microphones and in-ear monitoring. Promoting their new Phantom Power album, the Furries completed a full US tour in February and March, followed by 11 dates across the UK during April, taking in Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales and ending with the London Hammersmith Apollo. This summer will also see them playing at the Reading and Leeds festivals.

The band's monitor engineer, Craig Donaldson, comments: "I would say that establishing the relationship with Sennheiser is one of the best moves I ever made. The IEM systems are fantastic and the back-up from Mark Saunders at Sennheiser is even better."

Donaldson says of the microphones: "The e604 and e609 are familiar to any engineer and continue to do a great job for us. The real bonus for me is the e845 vocal mic, which I normally have at least seven of on stage. This is a fantastic vocal mic with awesome feedback rejection and the ability to cope with a range of voices. Previously we had really struggled to find a mic that could cope with the low notes of Gruff Rhys' big Welsh voice, but the 845 handles it perfectly. The mics are also extremely rugged and seem to cope, nae bother, with getting chucked on the floor and launched into the crowd on occasion."

Super Furry Animals use a combination of evolution e845 and e935 wired vocal mics, evolution e664, e604, e602 and e609 wired mics and evolution 300 wireless in-ear monitoring.
