Earl Adams, executive director of the Central Florida Society of Financial Service Professionals, said: "We are pleased to include Super Vision International among our roster of noted regional honorees. The company has demonstrated a strong commitment to the highest business ethics during a trying time in their business life and serves as a model for all businesses."
The American Business Ethics Award (ABEA) recognizes US companies that exemplify high standards of ethical behavior in their everyday business conduct and in a response to specific crises or challenges. This award was established in 1994 by the society of Financial Service Professionals. The entries for the ABEA is judged by a distinguished, independent panel who represent business, academia, public service, media, consulting and the ethics community. The judges evaluate the companies on documented evidence of integrity of their corporate 'code of ethics' as well as a clear demonstration of the company's commitment to ethical business practices through management and employee behavior.
"We have been through a long hard struggle in which our staff has made great sacrifices," commented Super Vision's president Brett Kingstone. "This award is a great acknowledgment of our team's dedication, hard work and integrity for choosing the long hard road to achieve justice rather than compromise their moral and ethical obligations in the interest of cost and expediency. I am proud of our team and I am grateful to the Society of Financial Service Professionals."
