Canegreen special projects manager, Pete Hughes, commented: "We were ready to retire our old shout speakers and I was looking for something with more design, which at the same time sounded great, with a good throw. These make lovely monitors, are a nice size and look great. Also, the features were what we needed - the t&m speakers are portable, self-powered boxes, with mic/line inputs, good level and tone control, which is what you need in a loud environment, and they are not too obtrusive. They are simple, plug-and-play boxes."
The t&m 6.5pa II is a two-way full-range system in a trapezoidal rectangular polyethylene enclosure. It incorporates a 6.5" woofer and a 1" soft dome tweeter, powered by integral 50W amplifier with input gain and EQ controls. Their first full tour of duty with Canegreen is expected to be with Paul Weller.
