Matthias Exner will be responsible for sales and marketing of professional products for the sound reinforcement and installation markets and he brings to Tannoy a wealth of audio experience. Initially employed as an engineer, and since 2000 as managing director of Audio-Vertrieb Peter Strüven GmbH, Matthias is especially experienced in fixed installation and DSP systems. He was involved with the Autostaat project - Volkswagen's multi-billion dollar entertainment theme park based in Wolfsburg.
Tannoy's sales and marketing director, Simon Sinclair, was keen to highlight the improved service levels that will result from the personnel changes. "Our level of support for dealers will be greatly enhanced with direct to dealer partnerships. Dealers and installers will benefit from the improved response time for the supply of product and assistance with specifying installations," he said.
Tannoy will be using the specialist service company Triplex, based in Mainz, to handle all aspects of warranty and non-warranty repairs and spares. There will also be a hotline to deal with technical product enquiries (+49 (0) 6131 21942120).
