Tannoy - colour line-up for the Arena system.
UK / Germany - Tannoy will show a number of new products at the Frankfurt ProLight&Sound exhibition next month, throughout its diverse commercial loudspeaker and studio monitor ranges. Commercial installation products can be found in Hall 8.0 stand C22 whilst their studio range will be exhibited in Hall 5.1 stand B43 / 53.

One of the major highlights will be a preview of an active version of Tannoy's V Series range of installation loudspeakers. The new V Net Series incorporates a networkable embedded amplifier system providing a complete installation solution by combining high performance signal processing, amplification, networked control and telemetry. Installers will be able to use customized PC interfaced software to configure a number of V series cabinets connected on an RS485 cable network.

Also showing will be Tannoy's high power loudspeaker solution for live or fixed installation music and speech sound reinforcement applications. The compact iQ 10/15 is a single-cabinet, full-range system incorporating a 250mm (10") version of Tannoy's unique, point source, constant directivity PowerDual driver utilising Funktion One Research patented Axhead horn technology and a 15" horn loaded bass driver.

There are four speaker models, all developed from the Tannoy V Series: VNET 12, VNET 12HP, VNET 15 and VNET 300. Three subwoofers are also equipped with VNET to partner the speakers: VNET 15BP, VNET 15HL and VNET 18DR. The Tannoy i6AW ICT is a brand new, competitively priced installation loudspeaker featuring patented point source inductive coupling technology. Able to deliver consistent performance under a wide range of adverse installation conditions, both inside or out, this product excels as a high quality outdoor music system, say Tannoy.

Complementing its range of in-wall models, Tannoy will also show the new iw62TS in-wall subwoofer.

The full line up of colour options for the Arena system will be shown. Arena's contemporary looks are aimed at the more stylish installations in the clubs, bars, cafés, restaurants and hotel reception market. Blending form and function, the Arena system offers exceptional acoustic performance combined with application flexibility and elegant styling, say Tannoy. Various Arena speaker configurations can be achieved by partnering them with the new Tannoy TDX1 digital system controller and a variety of subwoofer options within the V Series range. Building upon the success and recording industry reputation of the original Tannoy Reveal monitors, Frankfurt will also see the launch of no less than six new passive and active Reveal models. In addition the brand new four-model Precision range featuring Dual Concentric and WideBand technology will also be launched.
